DETOX WITH FLAVOURED WATER

You’ve heard of the importance of staying hydrated. Staying hydrated will  replenish essential salts and minerals in our body, but it will also keep us feeling good and satisfied, which will drive us away from indulging and reaching for unhealthy cravings.

Today we are sharing with you, a way to make of water, an alkaline (detox), fruity, fun and refreshing drink. First step: pick a fruit or veggie. It can be any kind of citrus fruit, or berry, cucumber or carrot; get creative with it. Second step: Pick an herb. A good example is mint (goes nice with lemon or green apples) or basil (strawberries or cranberries).

 

Here are a few combinations for your repertoire:

 

1. Apple, cucumber, orange.

2. Mint, apple, honey, lemon.

3. Tangerine, pear, cilantro (coriander)

4. Carrot, Pomegranate.

5. Watermelon, basil.

6. Cherry, lemon, mint.

7. Rosemary, grapefruit.

8. Blueberry, raspberry, mint.

9. Lemon, orange, ginger.

10. Pineapple, mint, raspberry.

11. Lemon, cucumber, basil.
